Company Profile JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesEssential Functions/Job Duties Under broad supervision, ACO II provides physical security to facilities and personnel in support of the unit manager and security staffEmployee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: --- Respond to all building alarms --- Monitor interior and exterior Closed-Caption Television (CCTV) cameras throughout shift --- Must be able to obtain Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) certified and maintain proficiency to carry a firearm, with Permit --- Monitor and control access of personnel and visitors in and out of restricted areas, verifying proper authorization --- Ensure adherence to security protocols to prevent prohibited items from entering or leaving the facility --- Diligently monitor assigned areas for any suspicious activity --- Remain alert and aware of surroundings, maintaining a high level of vigilance --- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in security procedures --- Prepare detailed reports of security incidents, emergencies, and unusual occurrences --- Maintain order and safety during emergencies --- Administer all physical access using/issuing both access control and company badge systems --- Follow all procedures as outlined in facility ACO procedures --- Adhere to the chain of command and company protocols --- All other duties as required Preferred Qualifications The following are ideal, or preferred, qualifications: ACO II --- Provide exceptional customer service to all employees and visitors --- Ability to de-escalate situations --- Exhibit excellent communication skills in all interactions --- The ability to work independently and as part of a team during scheduled shifts --- The ability to adapt to changes within a high-volume, fast-paced environment Requirements -- Education, Technical, and Work Experience The incumbent must have a High School Diploma or GED required and a minimum of three year of equivalent experience in physical securityAbility to work assigned shifts, which may include challenging hours, weekends and holidaysIn addition, an ACO II will be required to: --- Wear a uniform and comply with grooming standards --- Obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance --- Meet the qualifications and be certified to carry a firearm--- Maintain firearm proficiency --- Have basic computer skills using MS products to maintain shift blotter entries and other security reports --- Obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license Salary The expected salary for this position starts at $28.00 / hour for ACO I and $29.40 / hour for ACO IINote: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will payJT4 considers factors
