**Applicants must be a licensed Certified Physical Therapy Assistant**Always Better Care is pleased to announce an opportunity for a full time Physical Therapy Assistant specializing in Home Health based out of our beautiful Laughlin, NV/Bullhead City, AZ location. Our therapist will enjoy a generous hourly rate and an additional $58-$62 per patient encounter. We also pay a $10 an hour travel bonus. Our PTA would need a license in both Arizona and Nevada.Our patients come to us with many different needsand we can help them all! We successfully and quickly treat a variety of conditions ranging from orthopedics, stroke, post-surgical, and other debilitating causes of weakness and neurological loss. Our PTA will be responsible for the following:* Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment.* Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist.* Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises.* Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.* Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients.Our Physical Therapy Assistant will join in our goal to help each resident restore their quality of life and get back to living their lives to the fullest extent possible. Our Physical Therapy Assistant will help in our variety of services to provide our residents with a path to wellness and recovery.
