  • Job Details
  • General job duties include acute care RN for patients undergoing Cardiovascular services, surgical services.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 1 year PCU experience
    • EKG knowledge skills - IV Cardiac Medication administration
    • Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Vents, Chest Tubes, Epidural Catheters, PCA pumps, Transvenous pacing, Arterial or Venous Sheath pulling/care
      • Schedule Information
      • 7A-7P or 7P-7A 12 hour shifts days or nights
      • 3 shifts per week required
      • Upon discussion, we may allow scheduling of 4 shifts per week at regular rates if the candidate prefers
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Equipment utilized in the unit includes Philips Cardiac Monitors, Tele, Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors, Invasive monitoring
        • Medtronic Pacemakers
        • Cerner EMR
        • Pyxis Med dispenser
        • Zoll R series, Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, Mistral Air Warming units
        • Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 14
        • Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1RN to 3-4 PCU patients depending on acuity
        • Dress Code: Scrubs, no black/camo, Business appropriate hair color
