• Certification Details
• BLS, ACLS required.
• Current state nursing license required.
  • Job Details
  • Hospital in central AZ in need of travel RNs for a Med Surg, Tele. PCU float pool.
  • Must have 2 years of recent med surg/tele experience, 1 year of PCU experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have ACLS, BLS certifications.
    • Must have 2 years of recent med surg/tele experience, 1 year of PCU experience.
    • Current state license required.
    • Reading basic tele strips experience required.
    • Some experience with CVA and TIA preferred.
    • Total joint replacement experience preferred.
    • Cerner experience recommended as there is only one day of orientation.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 7-7.
      • Schedules are made out for 4 weeks.
      • Self scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances.
      • 2 weekends per 4 week schedule required.
      • Must work Christmas.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Telemetry - WC-Cardiac/Medical 3rd Floor
        • # Beds: 49
        • Ratios: 1:5
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients include: CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, Diabetics, Tele, post cath, total joint replacement.
        • No requirement to titrate drips.
        • We take Diltiazem/Cardizem drips at a set rate.
        • Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Yes. RNs are required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift.
        • Nurse Aides on the unit with ratios of 1:10-15.
        • Equipment includes BiPap, CPAP, breathing treatments.
        • One Shift of orientation on the unit.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS certifications required.
          • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor roles available.
          • There are Nurse Aides on the unit with ratios of 1:10-15.
          • Floating requirements include possible movement to East Campus, and PCU if qualified.
          • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue.
