• Certification Details
• ACLS/BLS
• Active and in good standing AZ license
  • Job Details
  • Acute Care RN for patients undergoing Cardiovascular services, surgical services.
  • Philips Cardiac Monitors, Tele, Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors, Invasive monitoring. Medtronic Pacemakers, Cerner EMR, Pyxis Med dispenser, Zoll R series, Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, Mistral Air Warming units.
  • Fast paced cardiac and cardiac surgery care; patients from cath lab with or without intervention, or 2-3 days postoperative open-heart surgery. STEMI and NSTEMI, Also chronic vents, Alcohol withdrawal, suicidal ideation, New BiPAP or CPAP patients, Thorocotomies, Renal disease.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 1 year PCU experience.
    • EKG knowledge skills - IV Cardiac Medication administration.
    • Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Vents, Chest Tubes, Epidural Catheters, PCA pumps, Transvenous pacing, Arterial or Venous Sheath pulling/care.
      • Schedule Information
      • 7A-7P or 7P-7A 12-hour shifts days or nights, 3 shifts per week required.
      • Upon discussion, we may allow scheduling of 4 shifts per week at regular rates if the candidate prefers.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 14
        • Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1RN to 3-4 PCU patients depending on acuity.
        • Floating to the ICU and/or CVICU preferred so basic critical care skills - Arterial lines, sheath pulls.
        • Dress Code: Scrubs, no black/camo, Business appropriate hair color
        • Orientation program details: Unit/department-specific training and orientation program.

          • REQUIRED TO SUBMIT: Time off during the assignment, conviction of a crime, 1 year PCU experience, ICU/CVICU experience, active AZ license, BLS/ACLS certification, 1099 employment status, candidate's birthday (MM/DD only).
